Crimean authorities hope to save the tourist flow from Russia

Crimean authorities hope to keep the number of tourists from Russia in the upcoming holiday season. Last year, the number rested in the Crimea was nearly 6 million people, 22% of them were citizens of Russia.

Despite insufficient funding, Crimean tour operators have prepared advertising campaign and information materials.

Emphasis will be placed on the development of recreational areas, tourism and leisure.

Today in Crimea operates 654 sanatoria and resort establishments, which can take 150 thousand holidaymakers. Also in the Crimea there are many private boarding houses and small hotels, a common fund which amounts to 150 thousand people.
