«Jazz in the city» A new exhibition at the art gallery «March»
"Jazz in the city" was the name of a new exhibition opened at the Exhibition Hall Gallery of Modern Art "March" in Sevastopol. The exhibition will showcase the work of seven artists, paintings which combine a jazz theme.
The exhibition is attended by the following artists: Gennady Shlykov - Nikopol, Ruslan Onishchenko - Sebastopol, Tatiana Efanova - Minsk, Galina Petrova - Brest, Igor Kudelin - Dnepropetrovsk, Tatiana Potvorova - Brest, Ravil Akmaev - Donetsk.
Irina Toshchenko, director of the gallery "March", reported recently hosted an international festival of Sevastopol "JAZZ BEZ-2009", also in the city were two jazz concerts, the "I believe that jazz in Sebastopol did not end there: it continues . I decided to organize an exhibition entitled "Jazz in the city."
Irina Toshchenko believes that the picture presented in the exhibit are a jazz improvisation: "I think that jazz - is an attribute of liberty."
