Ministry of resorts and tourism of Crimea will not participate in international tourism exhibitions in Israel and IMTM EMITT in Turkey in favor of increasing the Crimean stand at exhibitions in Moscow and Minsk. Said the deputy minister of resorts and tourism of Crimea Nikolay Marinov.

«It was decided to concentrate on strategically important markets. That's why we decided to focus on promoting recreational and tourism opportunities in the Crimea at international exhibitions in Moscow and Minsk. In this respect, unfortunately, we had to refuse to participate in exhibitions in Tel Aviv and Istanbul, which had been scheduled for February ", - said the official.

He stressed that this step confirms the strategic interest of the Crimea in the promotion of its tourism products to the markets of Russia and Belarus.

N. Marinov said that has already reached a preliminary agreement with major Crimean tour on joint participation in international exhibition MITT, which will be held in March in Moscow, as well as in an April exhibition "Rest" in Minsk. "We offered to tour operators, hotels and sanatoriums together on co-financing, participate in exhibitions Crimean stand united, we are ready to assume the costs of organizing such a stand. Promotion of the Crimean tourist product and improving the image of the Crimea - a concern not only to the ministry, and the tourist business in general, which is interested in this as anyone else. We understand this and are willing to cooperate. We - the background for tour operators, and sell on our background should be of benefit ", - he stressed.

According N. Marinov, now more than 20 major tour of the Crimea expressed a willingness to take part in exhibitions in Moscow and Minsk single Crimean stand. "Tour operators are happy to meet us and declare their readiness to submit the joint stand of Crimea, and not stand apart, blurring the already blurry Crimean brand" - added the official.

In turn, the president of group of companies "Kandahar" Boris Zelinsky said that the participation in exhibitions united stand allows you to more effectively promote the Crimean tourist product on the external tourist market. "Addressing the joint stand under the auspices of Minkurortov, can be more widely present opportunities in our region: on one site will be submitted to medical tourism, spa area, beach holidays, adventure tourism and so on" - he said.

In addition, a representative of one of the largest Ukrainian tour operators said that a single stand makes participation in international exhibitions more accessible to the tour operator, because not everyone can own "pull" part in the exhibitions.
