In Crimea, will host the first festival of snowboarding and nyuskulu
From 25 to 27 March at Yalta and at Mount Ai-Petri festival will be held snowboard and nyuskula «South Camp - 2011". About this Resort and Information Centre of the ARC said one of the organizers of the event Nikita Panasyuk.
According to him, this festival takes place in Crimea for the first time and aims to develop winter sports. "Ski season in Ukraine is almost over. Now the snow can be found only on Bukovel. So I think that fans of extreme sports, particularly snowboarding will be interesting to come to Crimea and to demonstrate their skills ", - said N. Panasyuk.
He said that the festival will be competitions on Snowboard (tricks on the board) and Newschool (combines elements of skiing, freestyle and acrobatics). Program activities is also provided free skating and fan contest.
How to tell the organizers and winners of competitions will be determined by the complexity of stunts and style of their execution. Top athletes receive from the organizers of the festival prizes, as well as sports equipment.
Expected that the festival will be attended by about 50 athletes from the Crimea and other regions of Ukraine, including those from Kharkov, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye.
