In the refurbished rooms and accommodation facilities Crimea invested 650 million UAH
In preparation for the holiday season 2011 in the refurbished rooms and reconstruction of Crimean accommodation facilities invested 650 million USD in domestic investment. This was reported by the first deputy minister of resorts and tourism of Crimea, Alexander Liev at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC of sanatorium-resort complex and tourism on April 26.
«This is the amount of official inward investment registered with the Authority and spent to upgrade the room fund", - said A. Liev.
In particular, since the 4 quarters of last year, businesses have invested in the refurbished rooms of the Crimean accommodation facilities 320 million UAH. "This is probably the main litmus paper of how the business responds to the actions of governments in the development of resort and recreation industry", - said the first deputy minister.
In addition, this year in the Crimea, a growth of tax collections. So, according to the State Tax Administration in the ARC during January-March this year, collecting all budgets amounted to 1.3046 billion USD, which is 317.1 million UAH or on 32,1% more than the same period of 2010. Including the collection of tax payments from the resort regions amounted to 536.5 million USD, which is 98.7 million UAH or on 22,5% more than during the same period last year.
