Crimean resorts and large tour operators will reduce prices to attract tourists in the off season
Autumn Crimean accommodation facilities and major tour operators are going to lower prices for their services in order to attract tourists during the off-season. This was reported by the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of the ARC of sanatorium-resort complex and tourism Rustam Temirgaliev at a press conference in Simferopol on 27 April.
«In the autumn of this year we have partnered with the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of the Crimea plan to conduct an experiment. The idea is to tour operators and accommodation facilities simultaneously lowered the cost of services during this period ", - said R. Temirgaliev.
According to him, the experiment is designed for 3 months - October, November and December. It is assumed that it will feature about 50 year-round resorts of Crimea. "We hope to increase the number of guests at these resorts and achieve their maximum occupancy" - added the head of the profile commission.
R. Temirgaliev also said that in the Crimea, there are 255 year-round spa facilities, which can simultaneously accommodate more than 50 thousand people. In this case, according to him, as of April 22 in the region operated 141 health resort. "Provision of more than 100 resorts. The problem of the Crimean authorities is to maximize the filling of the Crimean resorts, which are able to work during the so-called low season ", - concluded the head of the commission.
As reported by the Resort Information Center ARC, Russian tour operators who participated in a promotional tour in the Crimea, declared their readiness to support the advertising campaign to promote off-season in the Crimea. In particular, they suggested that during this period to reduce prices for rest and treatment in Crimean health resorts and expressed their willingness to ensure their completion.
